Move 4 Less can handle your
storage needs anywhere in the world. In addition to our
own warehouses, we can select the best warehouse
locations because we are not restricted to any one van
line system. After being wrapped for transit, furniture,
along with boxes are loaded into large, wooden storage
vaults. They are densely stacked to prevent damage and
to keep all items free from dust and dirt. These storage
vaults are then sealed shut and stacked inside the
warehouse. Although storing this way is very safe and
secure, accessing your goods can be difficult.
Therefore, be sure to let the movers know which items
are to be stored, and which need be delivered to your
temporary residence.
Long-Term vs. Short-Term Storage
There are two types of storage: Permanent Storage and
Storage in Transit. If you need storage for a long time,
permanent storage will likely be more efficient, and the
cost is calculated on a monthly basis. If you need
short-term storage as part of an interstate move, then
SIT will apply and the cost is calculated on a daily
basis.
The cost for Permanent Storage is based on the number of
storage vaults or the total cubic feet that your
shipment occupies in the warehouse. Payment for this
type of storage is due monthly.
The cost for Storage in Transit is based on the weight
of your load. The daily storage costs are added to your
final interstate moving bill
